self defense statistics
Do people really believe that guns are the best way to protect your family?

I've heard the argument that criminals already have guns "is not matter how "private citizens need guns to protect their families. Studies and statistics show that a gun in the home are more likely to kill a friend or family member to be used on an intruder. So what makes them so attractive? Do more guns equal no more fleeting? Pointing a gun at a criminal seems that would make them more likely to react violently, if only in self defense. Easy accessibility means more crime and occasional shootings spontaneous. Personally I'm not so worried about hardened criminals like I'm about to be shot by someone who has a toy gun. It is a very efficient of death because of our current laws may be collected by any disgruntled outcast high school or paranoid-neurotic trigger happy. Are not there other ways to keep your family safe? Are they really sure to begin with? Maybe I have not lived in a pretty bad neighborhood.

A gun is the best way to protect your Family: If you have a brain. That means you need to have a trigger lock or gun safe and maintain security devices and educate you and your family about safety firearms and keep the gun reach of children and not letting them know the combination to the safe or know where the trigger lock key is. Also you should not leave ammunition out there, is as dangerous as a weapon. The problem is that too many adults are too stupid to own a gun handle. I may seem cold-hearted, but in that case, I hope that fail to reproduce and that their children are shot each other. Less idiots is a better world for me. The police may take forever to get to your house anyway. I personally own guns and not necessarily because I think I will go into a shootout with criminals desperate to change my pocket or whatever is in my house, but because the shot gun can be a fun hobby if performed safely in a range. People break the neck in football, a meteorite can fall on you when you leave home, there is risk in everything, but still live a fun life. (and remember INSURANCE idiots! SAFE!)
