I'm asking because I'm fixing to lose my job and for any reason. A seller who runs a jewelry booth at the mall threatened me and I responded in self defense. It seems that I'm being blamed for it and will be fired after vacation. Unfortunately, my employment is at will and the mall can get away with it. To hell with the employee receiving threats. I believe in-not fair and employers have to prove just cause to terminate someone. As late or can not do their job. Employers should not be able to screw people over and run them off. People must have rights in these situations. Being able to defend themselves. Legally, if necessary.
